Great bumpers, just need to get a different adhesive

We have a mix of surfaces in our living room. Stone table with wooden legs. Glass entertainment center. Ceramic tile surround/hearth on our fireplace. So, off to the store to get babyproofing as our 6 month old started pulling herself up precariously using the table, couch, etc. as a hand-hold. The trouble is, most of the stores only carry a beige or offwhite color, and our decor is more black. Fortunately, we found these cushions on amazon in black. They are great quality, very cushiony and of sufficient length to be able to cut to any application. The included double-sided tape is not useful. Doesn't hold very well, etc. So, we found reviews of this "peal and seal" weatherize caulk. Which is designed to be temporary for sealing windows. It's sticky enough to hold the cushion in place, and can be peeled off the surfaces easily enough without leaving a mark.
These bumpers are a great find, and the best price is, of course, on Amazon.

I'm not sure what's happening for some of the other reviewers, or if the product has changed recently, but the tape that this comes with is very strong. I can literally pull my coffee table across the carpet by the bumper. Actually, I really wouldn't be surprised at all if taking this bumper off in a couple years takes some of my coffee table with it. As with any tape, however, you have to make sure both surfaces are very clean. I wiped both with rubbing alcohol before applying and it worked great.

not enough tape!

any child proof foam has two parts - the foam and the tape you use to adhere the foam to whatever you're trying to protect your child from. i just bought this kidkushion product because it was a few bucks cheaper than the last child proofing foam i bought -- prince lionheart -- because it seemed like the same product. indeed, the foam would appear to be manufactured at the same factory in china as prince lionhearts foam -- everything is identical - color, size, shape. but kid kushion only gives you enough tape to cover HALF of the foam whereas prince lionheart gives you enough for the entire length of foam. not to mention that the tape from kid cushion is half the width of the prince lioneart tape. what a stupid, cheap way to cut a corner by kid kusion - it renders their product un-usable. btw - i am always a bit leery of reviews so let me just say: i do not work for prince lionheart, or for some publicity firm, or in the child industry in any capacity. i am just a parent annoyed with this purchase.
